01. Scope
Vapelody.com is a trading name of Zagran Ltd. This policy covers storage and access technologies used by the Vapelody website and the controls provided through its cookie banner.
References to cookies also include comparable technologies, such as browser local storage, where the same rules are relevant.
02. Legal framework
Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended, governs the storage of information on and access to information from a user’s device. Where personal data is involved, UK data-protection law may also apply.
Consent is required unless an applicable PECR exception is available. Current ICO guidance also recognises specific exceptions for qualifying statistical and appearance/functionality purposes subject to their statutory conditions, including transparency and a simple means of objecting where required.
03. Current implementation
The supplied Vapelody front end does not load advertising trackers, behavioural profiling pixels or third-party analytics scripts. The confirmed site-managed browser storage in this build is a local-storage record named vapelody_cookie_consent. It records the consent version, time saved and the visitor’s choices for Preferences and Service improvement/statistics.

Production authentication, transaction or security services may require strictly necessary server-side session technology when those services are actually used. Any such live technology should be kept under review and added to this register if its implementation differs from the supplied front end.
04. Categories shown in Cookie Settings
Essential
Essential technologies support requested services, security and the storage of your privacy choice. They cannot be switched off through the Vapelody banner where the relevant PECR exception applies.
Preferences
This category is available for optional interface choices. In the supplied front end no separate preference storage is activated merely because the toggle is enabled.
Service improvement / statistics
This category is available for service-improvement statistics. The supplied front end does not currently load a statistics provider. If one is added, it must only activate in accordance with the saved choice or a deliberately documented PECR exception that actually applies.
05. Your choices
On a first visit with no stored decision, Vapelody shows a compact bottom banner with Accept all, Reject non-essential and Choose cookies. Opening the choices does not itself grant consent. Saving choices stores the exact optional selections; rejecting switches optional categories off.
After a decision the banner closes. A normal Cookie settings control in the footer lets you reopen the preferences, amend them or withdraw a previous choice. The site does not leave a permanent floating cookie launcher over the page.
When an optional category is withdrawn, Vapelody dispatches an updated consent state so integrated optional modules can stop future storage/access. Optional first-party data should also be removed where technically possible by the module that created it.
06. Third-party services
No third-party analytics, advertising pixel or hosted-payment script is included in the supplied public front-end files. Links to external websites are not the same as embedding their tracking technology. If an external service is later embedded, its storage/access behaviour must be reviewed before deployment and this policy updated where necessary.
07. Browser controls
Browsers normally allow you to inspect, clear or block cookies and site data. Clearing local storage will remove the saved Vapelody choice and may cause the banner to appear again. Blocking strictly necessary technology may prevent requested account or transaction functions from working correctly.
08. Changes & contact
This policy may change if Vapelody introduces or removes storage/access technologies or if applicable legal requirements change. Questions can be submitted through the Contact page. General personal-data information is set out in the Privacy Policy.
